We'll always have at least one loss. It's in the state constitution in the same place where it says we have to play Clown College every year. Come to think of it, Fuchs, Foley, Stricklin, and Cousin Eddie should have all been arrested for not scheduling them in 2020.

Anyway, it's always good to get that loss out of the way in the regular season because we're toast if we're still undefeated after FSU.

UF had no say in scheduling in 2020. Greg Sankey and the SEC took complete control of this in the pandemic season. UF lobbied for an exception but it was denied.

The program also has 3 National Championships in the last 27 years (and 2 Heismans), a number most of the rest of college football would be jealous of.
By the math, UF has an average of 8 wins and 5 losses since 2010. That needs to significantly improve. That is nothing to be jealous of...

This is important Math to understand. There are about 15 programs realistically capable of winning the NC. If the ships were distributed equally, we could expect one per every 15 seasons. Since SOS, we are currently banking one about every 10.6 years on average. One ship per decade. I would take that ratio for the rest of my life if possible. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
