He was off by 3. You were off by at least 5 lol.And you had us winning 2 games last year. You were much farther off than me.

We said the same thing last summer... and yet...have hope because I don't believe they cannot be worse than last season
I didn't say 2 anyway. I said 4. He is probably editing every post right now. This year could be as bad as 2 but will likely be 4 or 5 again, just like Vegas and the analysts say.He was off by 3. You were off by at least 5 lol.
Ah, so now you're just saying "likely" - already back peddling like a madman.I didn't say 2 anyway. I said 4. He is probably editing every post right now. This year could be as bad as 2 but will likely be 4 or 5 again, just like Vegas and the analysts say.
Yes, 4 is more likely than 2. But 2 won't surprise me.Ah, so now you're just saying "likely" - already back peddling like a madman.
Simply nattering nabobs of negativism. The amount of votes in the poll for five wins or less is freaking stupid and disgusting. You guys are bunch of embarrassing battered wives.
Beating Mario at home brings you to being able to "talk" us into 7-0? You think Mario is that great of a head coach? Now, if Napier beats him like he stole something for 4 quarters then I'm all ears. If it plays out like the Tennessee game last year, domination in the first half turns into ultra conservative playing scared WTF was that second half, then it will be same $hit different year. Or even worse, if it turns into the retard bowl, then I will be stealing Durtys bag to put over my head for the remainder of the year.Somewhat true, but the turnaround in talent is not massive enough to make coaching nearly irrelevant (think Larry Coker).
Miami feels as pivotal an opening game UF has had since Michigan in McElwain's last season. This one probably more so for how the rest of the season pans out. Lose at home to a struggling in state rival and the wheels have a very high chance of falling completely off. Whereas, we win that one and I could talk us into 7-0 with recruiting momentum swings and chances to run the table after Georgia/Texas (may even grab one of those). But, with the history Billy has, he has not given us anything here or at Louisiana to make me think that's the way this turns out for him. Since he does seem to work hard, I'd like him to succeed. I don't hate him the way i have prior failures (though I do hate Stricklin more than Foley).
I just see hype building around Mertz as the season approaches and people argue he is ready for Joe Burrow season 2 comparisons (never mind that Burrow had two all-pro WRs). But Mertz and Billy have a ton of games and offense to show us who they are, so we have to expect each of them to morph into new guys together.
If you lose at home to Miami, I see quick quitting on the coach and recruiting going very south.
This is a playoff game in the Retard Series.Or even worse, if it turns into the retard bowl,
Fan duel has us set at 4.5 wins. I think we're just being rationalThe amount of votes in the poll for five wins or less is freaking stupid and disgusting. You guys are bunch of embarrassing battered wives.

I wish it would be 8 regular then he wins a bowl. That would be decent. Not saying 7 wins is good, just that it’s better and the least he should do.@Silverback Gator 7 wins? That would be a successful year? Come on man we have been in the $hitter but don't be tricked into lowering your standards by Scotty.
10 wins or it's a failure. We should beat everyone on the schedule with the exception of Georgia and Texas.
Napier's 3rd year, with all of his resources he wanted, the majority of the roster are his players, 25th year senior at QB. No more excuses, win 10 or GTFO.
I hear ya, success is subjective. To each their own.I wish it would be 8 regular then he wins a bowl. That would be decent. Not saying 7 wins is good, just that it’s better and the least he should do.

Yeah, well, 10 is NOT going to happen, maybe never with this guy. Realistic optimism.I hear ya, success is subjective. To each their own.

This is a fair point, but you focused on the wrong side of the equation and not my point. I'm saying if we lose in a battle of morons, this goes to the sh!tter fast. Win, even possbily ugly, and we are 2-0 with a home game against aTm who have a brand new coach and somewhat depleted roster. Momentum could build but little to no chance without a week 1 W.Beating Mario at home brings you to being able to "talk" us into 7-0? You think Mario is that great of a head coach?
