Port St Lucie-- A Port St. Lucie dialysis patient wants to know why he can't bring his emotional support life sized cutout of President Donald Trump with him to his dialysis facility during his treatments. Spokesperson for Fresenius Medical: "we strongly support the ability of all our patients to express their views, which includes bringing reasonably sized items into our dialysis centers that do not create safety or infection control issues, or interfere with caregivers on the treatment floor," said Brad Puffer, spokesperson for Fresenius Kidney Care.
(This is a facility I built about 11 yrs ago.)

Neighbors came to the man’s defense and commented on his struggles to get the cut-out to the dialysis center in the first place.

“Those early 2000 Audi’s don’t come with a lot of cabin space, convertible or not”, said one man who wished to remain anonymous. “They should’ve made an exception”.

Spokesmen for the company weren’t immediately available for comment but an update to their policies on a company website listed “life size cut-outs, accusations of relation, and threats of 3-day vacations” were not allowed at any of their facilities.

Sebastian woman calls 911 for a ride to buy more alcohol
Sebastian woman calls 911 for a ride to buy more alcohol - Sebastian Daily
According to the affidavit, Laura Louise Nelson, of Sebastian, called 911 on Wednesday at approximately 6:25 p.m. but hung up on the dispatcher. Nelson then called back a second time, requesting a taxi to take her somewhere to get alcohol.

Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Toledo Street, where they made contact with Nelson.

“I made contact with Laura, who advised she was calling 911 for a ride to buy more alcohol,” the officer said.

The officer said Nelson, 68, was “swaying” as she walked out of the residence to speak with police.

Arrested for misusing 911 service earned this Florida Woman a trip to the Indian River Co. Jail.

While he's tethered to the machines somebody would destroy that placard.

I can understand the staff's side of this. I built this facility and many more like it. Each patient station is only 7 feet wide--there are several of these stations in tandem on each wall of the treatment room. You have the chair the patient sits in which is a medical recliner, wider than normal. And you have the dialysis machine the patient is tethered to, and you have 4 plumbing lines (process water, drains) and electric going back from the chair and the dialysis machine to a chase in the wall behind the patient, and you have to have room for the nurse to get around, many patients are in wheel chairs brought in and maneuvered into place when patients arrive or are discharged. A full sized cut out would be cumbersome. He should settle for an 8x10 that he can hold and gaze into.

Patients fleeing in terror without being properly disconnected from the dialysis machines would make a terrible mess.
