These aren't practice lockers....game-day stuff is cleaned and sterilized if not new!
First, they are our practice lockers for the next three years, minimum.
I was actually pointing out that if you think
The new lockers are something special you need to see what the other top programs are doing and hopefully us, in the new stand alone. If you have ever put your pads on the day after already wearing them the day before you would know it's a great innovation.

Tile in a locker-room isnt an option if you've ever played and walked in cleats especially coming off a damp/wet field! Our whole team would be in a boot in Jax!
This was what I was going to say. Hard floors in locker rooms can be dangerous.

Sorry, that isnt the actual locker room.

Seriously, I get that the darken the room and LED tricks may be useful to recruiting, but this really was underwhelming.

We dont seem to spend our dollars well. Just comparing dollars doesn't impress me much.

Frankly, I could have fired four Mexicans at Lowes and did that tile and paint job for about $100,000 no doubt.

I don't expect it to be great. This is Florida. Im not expecting Lexus or Mercedes, but can we at least get Honda or Toyota? And not used ass 200k Kia with new seatcovers and Maaco paint job.

I kept hearing conflicting things from my friends. One kept saying it's just a paint job, the other was saying no it's a 1.5 mil makeover. In the end, both were right. It was a 1.5 mil paintjob.

Would it make you feel any better if we explained these are NOT the new football locker rooms? That these are the new $1.5m new locker rooms for the women's soccer team?

im fine with the squares for regular swap-out (hygiene reasons) and safety (non-slip) concerns, but the drop ceiling tiles, even if dimmed and overshadowed by the cool LED stuff still kinda suck. Should have spent the money on a nice looking ceiling. That said, this is a significant upgrade and sounds like the boys are happy so ill take it.

do you really believe they do that?

they just re-sodded the field for the first time in over a decade.

those carpet squares were probably there since 1982.

If we all spent other people's money like Law, we'd be ... Well, I'm not sure I should try to finish that sentence.
