he should have kept the cornrows. at least @Ancient Reptile would like him.
fswho now #3 in espn's bottom 10... There's bad, and then there's this week's Bottom 10
Beyond his own missteps at fsu that speak for themselves, what has to be seriously concerning for nole fans is watching Scott Frost--NorveLLLL's arch nemesis while at Memphis--bumbling his way to getting whacked this season. That's right fsu, that's the guy your head coach couldn't quite overcome.
Meanwhile, over at Warchant: "There are some major issues for the Florida State football team to fix. Obviously. But the one that might be the most worrisome for FSU head coach Mike NorveLLLL and his offensive staff isn't the high number of penalties. Although those are a big problem. And it's not short-yardage situations either. Although those, too, have been a monumental concern. No, coming off the 35-14 loss at Wake Forest on Saturday, the No. 1 issue that needs to get cleaned up is turnovers. The Seminoles had six in the loss to the Demon Deacons and now lead the country in that category."
Say it ain’t so. NorveLLLL was going to focus on discipline, reducing penalties and turnovers. Sorta like that was his strength. I think Willie T looks like Lombardi compared to this clown.
Well…..he HAS focused on turnovers, just in a different way.
Feels like that’s a write up from a rival team’s site. I love they way he does a recap of disaster through three games. “Biggest issue with fsu so far? Maybe you’re thinking not icing your kicker before a potential game winner? Nope. Is it handling the pressure of a 6,000 seat stadium at Wake or finding a new kid-proof headset for William Floyd? Wrong on both counts. What about not playing man coverage on the last play of the game and giving so little effort a 1* WR races past and then jukes your secondary for the win? You’d think so, but actually no.”
nah that's definitely a fan... a fan who's pissed
This says it all… Update: Conquered; currently on a ‘Trail of Tears.’ (with apologies to @BNAG8R )
I had lunch the other day with a Null whose brothers are big Null boosters. His info about the program has always been on the money (fwiw). I asked him about NorveLLL and what the consensus was. According to him, the general feeling in Tally is he inherited a mess and a very bad roster. They seem to be willing to give him time and are happy with how recruiting is going. They also believe NorveLLL has fixed, or is fixing, a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and changed the culture. He also claimed none of the recruits are wavering despite how the season is going. Time will tell how accurate any of that is.
Want to realize how 'shambled' FSU fans are.? Just note how they so proudly cheer as Renegade gallops to midfield just before kickoff. They are so uproariously proud that they have the only equine in the world with its azzhole in the middle of its back.
I’ll bet when they came up with the “unconquered” slogan, they never thought it was possible they’d sink to the depths they’re at now. Really hoping this lasts at least a decade. They deserve it.
I'm actually shocked that a website that auto-corrects WiLLLLLLLie and NorveLLL lets "Warchant" stay in place of "Whorechant." @oxrageous...perhaps look into that?
Can't remember who they played in 2006, but I do remember them having a black out game in broad daylight with their unconquered patches on their pants. Oh, they also lost that game.
It was Boston College and yes, they lost 24-19.
They got shut out at home by Wake that year. I can't remember if it was the Wake game or the BC game, but one of the opposing players had a sibling that played for the 'Noles. After the game, he took off his shoulder pads on the sideline and was wearing an FSU "Unconquered" t-shirt but blacked out the "un". Alex.
I'm always getting the 2006 and 2008 FSU-Wake Forest games confused, especially the 2008 game, which they lost 12-3. FSU opened with 2 FCS teams then played Wake on ESPN in their 3rd game, which the tv analyst called the FSU team "cubic zirconia, fools gold." Wake shuts them out on their home field yet we had Chris Leak lead the Gator team to a 21-14 win, which was one of the FSU fans moral victories while bragging about how they stopped Tebow, which gave them confidence for next seasons matchup.
There was an article I read this morning with similar comments. I read that article and your post. After much deliberation I have concluded Norvelll is still a clown.
Kiss of death.
