Im not as concerned about missing on all the top 250 kids nationwide. I do think we need to get back to owning the top kids in the state though, or at least getting our share.

0-3 no doubt. Unless there are more high risk kids and no one else will take them only to watch them fail to qualify.

Youre talking about the staff that was the only one to admittedly offer a bag o cash to Cam Newton, right?
No im talking about doing what all schools are doing while we sit over here and watch 5 stars want to play for Tennessee and other loser teams that we have dominated steal recruits from us

You have Bryce Langston, #31, highlighted but it says he’s undecided. Was that a mistake?

Ultimately, though, does it really matter? I mean, if we land a top 10 class but then lose 4-5 guys to attrition before summer camp even opens, what’s the point?

He is still a Gator lean and I consider him ours to lose.

I actually consider him more likely to stick than Rucker.

The thing is we add all the guys at IMG and they’re not from Florida the fact that the media guys do it as well is insane
There is four on the list. You can count top 29 if you want.

It is a lame fvkking excuse for comtinued piss poor recruiting.

I’m not denying we’re failing at recruiting but the things can be mutually exclusive...I wasn’t arguing semantics I was arguing these kids aren’t from FL

It is four kids. I feel like it used to be more, but I'm not going to look it up. not sure what's contributing to them losing their luster maybe the Catholic schools are just pumping up there scholarships.

Regardless they are kids who want to play high school football in Florida, and used to want to play at Florida State and Miami but not UF, when those teams are still landing elite classes. We had excuses then, too.

Yeah we certainly need to land more top FL kids. I don't know what all the numbers are and how many FSU and Miami are landing vs UF. Does anyone know? Obviously they haven't been able to turn those FL kids into stars or coach them up cause we have destroyed FSU and Miami on the field the last few years and destroyed them in overall recruiting too the last few years.

Besides the two commits we have a realistic shot at 5 others in the top 25. If we miss on the Palmetto kids this entire class is a bust (as far as being a top 10 class...but even then we'd have to see how many Mullen can manage to get on campus in September):

3 COREY COLLIER S Miami, FL Undecided
5 TYREAK SAPP SDE Fort Lauderdale, FL Florida VERBAL
9 JASON MARSHALL CB Miami, FL Undecided
12 LEONARD TAYLOR DT Miami, FL Undecided
16 LAURENCE SEYMORE OG Miami, FL VERBAL
17 TREVONTE RUCKER WR Ocala, FL Florida VERBAL
22 JORDAN YOUNG CB Tampa, FL Undecided

Through 38 (and I'm not holding my breath on the two Safety prospects or Sorey, so "realistic" 3 more).

30 CHARLES MONTGOMERY ATH Seffner, FL Undecided
31 BRYCE LANGSTON SDE Ocala, FL Undecided
32 XAVIANSOREYATH Graceville, FL Undecided
33 TERRION ARNOLD ATH Tallahassee, FL Undecided
37 GAGE WILCOX TE Tampa, FL Florida

If we bat 1.000 we land 8. I voted 0-3, which is pretty optimistic.

From the link below: ("owned and destroyed")

When evaluating the last four recruiting classes of committed or signed players from the 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 classes, Miami has had the most in-state success when it comes to top-20 players for the big three teams by landing 10. Florida is right there with nine and then Florida State has gotten eight.

It is fvkking disgusting that ALL the "Big 3" arent getting 1/3 to 1/4. 4 classes, 100 top Florida players, and we got 9?!?!!!?

How the mighty have fallen.
