He did shoot poor that season but it wasn't as bad as Hill probably because he was a 3 point threat and made 2-3 most games and hit 40% of them he took. Hill has to almost win the lottery to make a 3 point shot so teams can defend us easier.

He's not a shooter. When will people accept that and appreciate what he does bring to the table?

What he brings is killing us. Its not good to have a guard running the offense that can't hit long range shots. It makes things much easier on the opposing defense. Using that reasoning I guess we should have all been thanking Driskel for what he brought to the table. Not hating on the individual just what his play is doing to us if he doesn't turn it around.

The point guard's primary job is to facilitate other people scoring, not launch endless three point shots. Hill is a PG more in the mold of Rajon Rondo who has managed to be a four-time NBA all-star and win an NBA championship despite being a career 26% three point shooter and a career 61% free throw shooter.

That's too difficult for some to grasp.

Well yes but the best of them can and do make shots to open things up, we don't see that much in this team.

Once again, he's not a shooter. Never has been and may never be. Does a lot of other things very well, but folks refuse to appreciate his game because he can't knock down a 3. If we had any kind of inside presence, he would probably be averaging close to double digit assists.

To be fair though, he's not really finishing around the rim consistently either. I like Hill, but like the rest of this team, his best basketball is ahead of him. I actually think he can become a decent shooter. But he's got to finish better and improve the TO to assist ratio regardless.
