Norvell also inherited an already good Memphis program that was left by Justin Fuente. After Fuente's 3rd season at VA Tech, he struggled during the next 4 seasons and was canned in 2021.

The idiot Anfernee Hardaway is probably better off there coaching basketball. Then again, who'd be dumb enough to hire a cheater who's probably worse than Bruce Pearl?
