Two outs to start, then two walks for Coppola. Sully with a visit.

Coppola retires the first two hitters but walks the next two hitters but gets out of it with a K on a full count pitch. 22 pitches. I am sure he is done given the bullpen was getting loose from the start. Going to give Coppola a bit of a pass as he has not pitched in months and had to be nervous given his injury history.

Ya know, would it kill you guys to rephrase such things as "smart at bats instead of swinging and striking out"?!?!?!?!?
You know perhaps, but if you watched the top of the 9th inning, the USCe pitchers pitches were so far out of the strike zone that both Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder drew walks in their AB's in the inning.

After review, the runner at 3rd is out. Foot came off the bag, tag applied before hand made contact.

8 run lead in the home half of the last inning and the leadoff hitter gets a HBP free pass.

6-4-3 double play ends the game.

Gators did what had to be done to keep playing after Memorial Day weekend.

Nice job last 4 weekends. As I’ve said for years, just get hot at the right time.

Go Gators!

We are currently ranked 15th in RPI. I'm starting to think that without the slew of injuries we would have been hosting a super regional this year. If we had a couple luckier innings and stole a couple of wins in those first twelve SEC games we would definitely be expected to host a regional at this point. Next weekend series is gonna be tough as hell. Hopefully we can steal at least one away from Texas.

I was visiting my son ( he is a drill sergeant at Ft Jackson) and we went to the games this past weekend. The boys looked good and the pitching held up.

Too bad that there aren't more Gator baseball fans. This team is rising like Lazarus from the dead. I am starting to wonder just how far they can go.
I hear you and it is a little like last year except no Cags, but before we get to carried away we have beaten the dregs of the SEC except for ARK, and I get it you play who is on your schedule. But we showed nothing against the better teams of the league and this weekend will be a nice test given we have built some confidence and TEX-A$$ just suffered their first big bump in the road last weekend. So until then I would defer to Harvey Keitel regarding the play of the baseball team and...........................

Just saw Jenkins listed as starting pitcher for tonight. Guess he has been hurt. Think he is the kid that was at Santa Play last year and showed that he had a live arm early in the year except for one small detail: Could not throw strikes.
