One last comment, you can tell the lack of passion for Gator baseball as compared to other sports. If the other sports teams were performing this badly, even in a historic perspective, there would definitely be the "fire threads." Simply, the majority of fans care nothing about baseball.

I don't disagree w/ you about the passion for UF baseball (that's why we get the complaints about facilities - and building a $60 million baseball stadium for the barely 3,000 fans that show up)....but at this point the coach has earned the right to have a down year. Now if he goes in the tank like Pat McMahon did after he made the World Series finals maybe there would be talk of firing him. But he's earned it and has brought UF to new heights in the college baseball world.
