Gators make Crisp work of Noles in Jacksonville

The Florida Gators’ dominance over Florida State and the winningest coach in college baseball history continued in Jacksonville on Tuesday night. After falling behind 1-0 and then again 2-1 the Gators clawed their way back to a 4-2 win over rival Florida State. The win is the Gators’ 10th consecutive — extending a school record — and their 16th win in the last 18 games against the Noles. With two losses on the year Mike Martin’s overall record against the Gators dropped to 76-76 all-time with one more game to go.

Nice to own the Noles yet again. Huge win but the season will probably end with a quiet exit from a regional unless we put things together to get to a super regional or CWS. Very hard to imagine a CWS berth for this team but still a long season to go. Didn't see a NCAA tourney birth for UF either after sitting at 12-11 but anything is possible now. Go Gators!!
