Looks like the bats stayed hot after I had to go out yesterday. Hope it continues today. Need to get off to fast start offensively b/c today's games are both scheduled for 7 innings.

Good guys trail 3-0 after 4 innings. Looked like the bats were going to stay hot as we put our first 2 hitters on in the top 1st and with runners on 1st and 3rd, Indy and Dalton promptly struck out and JJ grounded out ending any threat. Credit the UT pitcher but not getting at least 1 run there proved costly. UT seized the MO and have put together 7 hits and 3 walks thru 4 innings off of a non sharp Kowar. Need a rally now or going to have to win the rubber game.

Able to scratch out 2 runs in top 5th on a Liput ground out and and Indy double. threat ends on Dalton's 3rd K of the day. Plenty of hits today just not all timely. Need to hold UT rest of the way and maybe we can pull it out.

Gators came out flat today, Tennessee very focused. Although we have 10 hits after 6 innings, guys have not done much with runners in scoring position. Dalton is slumping of late and seems to be swinging for the fence every time up instead of just making contact. Kowar has not been sharp and the UT pitcher is a battler. The Vols defense has made some great plays, too. So we've got 1 more chance to win this game, then rest 30 minutes and move attention to game #2.

Gators strike for 2 runs top 7th thanks to a couple of misjudged balls by UT, but that is why you keep swinging the bats. But Byrne allows one in the bottom 7th to tie it up. Extra innings here we go!
