ESPN line has UF as a 1 point favorite

Conventional wisdom is to give 3 points or so of advantage to the home team. The way Florida lays an egg at home, they should take away 3 points. So the line should have LSU as a 5 point favorite.

3 point home favorites applies to the NFL and only the NFL.

I'd love to see top games from Locke as reward for his toughness.
Like to see Hayes, Bassett, & Stokes shock LSU's inside 'talls'. Get 'em into foul trouble, then out.
Time for last year's Hudson and a standard to be set by Allen.
Go Gators, there's nothing else you can do, now !

Postseason hopes dashed and White pretty much a GONER. Strick has to call Marshall, Drew, and Stevens ASAP so they can start recruiting some big men.

You should market yourself as the ultimate test of the efficacy of bipolar medications. If they could get your condition under control, it should work wonders for anyone.

Only way for MW to improve as HC is if lots SEC teams graduate or send players to NBA - plus already talented players join our team next year and bring their development with them.

Waiting and watching Mike-White-basketball is torture for UF fans. How long going nowhere?

Computer says a 34% chance to get in now and that is assuming a likely KY loss and then possible tournament results. I am thinking if we catch Miss State or Ole Miss in the first game of the tournament that a win in that game may be enough.

Looking at the standings, final games and tiebreakers we are much more likely to end up facing the Bama/Arkansas final game winner in that first game which wouldn't help as much.

Lunardi still has us as a 10. We may sneak in if we win just one more game.

Yep but not sure beating lowly Arkansas would be enough or even Bama. If we do end up in that #8,#9 first game we will get LSU it appears in the next game unless Vanderbilt pulled a huge upset on them in their final regular season game. That LSU game would definitely be a win and your in for sure.

With how the brackets are set up we are 100% in if we win 2 games in the tourney even with a loss to KY.

The biggest variable now isn't based on the Gators (unless they win some in the SEC tourney), but on how the non-Power 5 conference championships go. If a few underdogs get automatic bids by winning their conference championships, instead of the favorites who are going either way, it could leave UF on the outside looking in.

True that always affects the last few spots.

Even with that I would say a few things are pretty certain. Either a KY win or a KY loss and 2 wins in the tourney (due to the 2nd team being a highly ranked team) 100% assures a spot.

A Miss State 1st game win would assure us a spot almost 100% but if we lose to KY - for that matchup to happen would take some crazy tiebreaker stuff which doesn't look like will happen.

A KY loss and a win over Ole Miss in the 1st game without another win would probably have us in that area where you are hoping there aren't many conference tournament winners that wouldn't have got in otherwise.
