That’s why he is a perfect fit for this regime. It’s the old brokerage/sales “act as if” mentality where you use body language and say a bunch of phrases that most don’t quite understand, but in a confident way that conveys you must know what you’re talking about. No different than hearing Napier talk about “verified speed” or use nonsensical phrases like “operate in truth”. It’s just a way of hiding the fact that they’re both in over their head.
Shares his PR people with the Kackler.

Pretty sure we could fire the Roberts clown right now and let Ham the defense and we would see some improvement on defense.

If you need any more evidence that Billy Napier isn’t a winner and truly doesn’t care about becoming one, fans be damned, we have two weeks to prepare for a team that looks like it may blow us out, and we just gave up historically bad yardage to a bad team. And yet, even with 15 games of data that clearly shows AA isn’t a capable DC, he’s not willing to change anything, fire anyone or try anything different. It’s disgusting and should truly be looked at for “cause” given that he’s not even trying to win games for his employer at this point.

He's literally too stupid to even comprehend what you posted. I imagine a tater analysis is something like the following:

"Hmmm... me wanna score some points, me wanna win da game.

Hmmm... we gonna run the football to da short side of da field... me likes da short side!

Hmm, dat didn't work, how bout we do the throw game? Somebody tell dat feller behind the line to throw da ball at someone in orange.

hmmm... them buttchugers caught da ball. maybe orange was da wrong thing to say.

Somebody tell the defense to stop da guys in orange. Why is that kid jacking off with da headset?

Somebody put in number 9 to cover da kick. Which number 9? Hmmm. Put all 3 of em in!"

But he did change to Roberts and it's been worse. How many rush packages are we going to have with stunts on the QB right side that leaves no outside rush end when the QB inevitably leaves the pocket to his front side. It's been at least 20 plays already this season, as just one example. Also, the Grantham clown blitzes from guys in the stands are back. AA didn't run that stuff. The worst hit on AA was an inability to teach what was a relatively sound defense (thus the coverage busts) or to teach tackling. Roberts has not fixed any of that, but has made the scheme worse.

You mean our defense looks like Barn's did, before they fired him after one year?

Or Baylor's did before they fired him after two years?

Honestly, I didn't watch either of those teams enough nor did I care when Billy applied a band-aid to a gaping wound to bother going back and watching any of this film. But, the concepts/scheme has me infuriated this year more than last, when it was far more inept play/teaching of the scheme.

He already addressed this earlier in the week and confirmed that the troubles on defense are because of alignment and technique. Nothing to do with scheme. So your concerns are way off base.

You're probably wrong because Silly has said "we look at everything" and they use the analytics. Sarcasm aside, I believe Billy is incapable of addressing issues real time and demanding his mediocre staff correct deficiencies. They cannot watch film of teams that run successful schemes? China copies success, why can't Billy?

All which was supposed to be ingrained over Summer and Spring. He's lost support from fans and his team has to be disappointed.

You want fries with that is what you expect him to say next.
It sounded great. We started last season with a statistically good defense. That lasted 3 games and we've been torched ever since. Talk is cheap but in the coaching world can pay very well. End of day, Napier can't build a solid staff. Must believe that it's the structure, not the teaching and training. That's all I have.

And he passed over Bateman. Twice. I’m not saying Bateman is all-world, but he’s sure looking better than AA and had DC experience.

Darry Darryl dipstick will be here any second blaming the players in Billy Bobs third season ridiculously claiming none of our guys are
Coachable and it takes at least five years to compete in this league .
