Honestly if you can’t win, and win big, with this talent, you gotta go. There is no excuse for this level of incompetence.

Really, the question is who out there could inspire these top athletes better than White? There has to be an easy to find group.
It is stupid to observe White's product and not realize that he has zero regard for the inside game. That might not be blatantly obvious because his players never even think on the inside move, nor the inside look. Don't you know that when the ball starts moving inward that White's nerves are yearning for them to get the ball out of there? White can't imagine good things happening in that crowd. All of White's real time, playing time getting close to the basket is where you get stuffed by towering opponents.
Stricklin doesn't have to know basketball to see that White doesn't deserve to guide the Florida Gators basketball team. This group of worthy players should have progressed to 14 wins at this point. It's too late and it's getting later. We face some really well-coached teams -- not teams with more skilled individual athletes but teams learning better basketball patterns of scoring using teammates to advantage.
I always say road games are tough regardless of the opponent and Mizzou is not a good team. However they had one of those nites where everything went in. That happens, however how many of those 3 point shots were completely uncontested? a whole lot. But even more disconcerting was how many wide open, uncontested layups did we give up? A whole Bunch or about 10 too many. I am not talking about offensive rebound put backs I am talking about straight line drives to the bucket or pick and rolls where we forgot about the roll man. We have played 3 conference games and are 2-1 with 2 road games, which on the surface does not look bad. However we have played 3 teams who are not going to the tourney so it will not get much easier until Vandy and A&M show up. Heck and look at Miss. St. they are 0-3 and better than any of the 3 teams we have played, although Bama did beat them down at Bama.
White's incompetence was camouflaged somewhat while he inherited veteran players developed for him.
Once the last of them were gone we got to see what we really have.
Really hard to defend the guy. Really hard
What's worse is he is our coach through at least next season
I’m steadily crossing into the replace CMW camp from the “give him a chance” camp. I was never a big fan of his, but kept thinking that if he could get more talented players he could take this team a long way. But it looks more and more as if he may not be the right guy.
With that said, I’ll continue to support the team and hope they get their act together and not only make it into the big dance, but go deep into the tourney. I’ll be as optimistic as I can be, and try to only blame the things on White that he controls (strategy, in game calls and adjustments, etc), and not those things that aren’t within his control (missing wide open shots, a guard making a reckless drive to under the basket without having any idea what he’ll do when he gets there, etc).
It’s just not my nature to abandon the team and not support them, including players and coach. But I have to admit, Saturday’s game was the closest I’ve ever come to turning off a Gator game before the end.
I completely understand others who have stopped watching and whose only desire is for Mike White to be fired. I just can’t bring myself to do that. At least not yet.
Idk, I'm ambivalent on White and certainly can get behind his firing. My layman's observation, I actually see and attempt at offense sets and movement. What I dont see is toughness. In the sec games I have seen, they really seem to be bothered by physical defense, hand checks etc. They seem like a bunch of prima donas
Yall let me know when this turd is fired so I can start watching again; until then its pure boycott until he's gone. He's absolutely destroyed our program and our brand. Dude is literally the MacElwain of gator bball.
Watched the first 5 minutes and decided to start season 7 of Ray Donovan instead...my best decision of the day. Can’t imagine I’ll tune in again this season.
I remember last season I was on the fire mike white bandwagon and everyone here said we had to keep him because of the recruiting class we had coming in [emoji849] I said it before I’ll say it again...what must be done eventually needs to be done now
Mizzou is ranked 55th in the KenPom rankings which helps determines NCAA seeding and Quad wins so they are hardly a terrible team. Bama is 50th so that counted as a good win for us the other night. Our Gators are ranked 23rd in those. Butler, who we lost to is 5th.
