Does this mean the game is relevant again?

As far back as I can find (which is 1999), the game has always been on CBS when in the Swamp. The last two times it's been in Knoxville, it's been on ESPN or SEC Network. But CBS loves it some UF-UT in the Swamp.

Edit: Using YouTube, it looks like the last time a UF-UT game in the Swamp wasn't on CBS was 1995. But then again, the video of that game that was uploaded could have just been the Sunshine Sports replay. The game was on ABC in 1993.

UF/tenn in 95 was not on CBS...CBS started airing SEC games in 96 i believe.

Curt Magitt with a hip injury from multiple games. Bad news for them.

CBS didn't partner with the SEC until the 1996 season, when the SEC on CBS was started. This is when the channel started carry College Football again.

Well there you have it then. Every UF-UT game played in the Swamp since CBS started airing SEC games has been on CBS. A couple of them have been the primetime slot, most have been the 3:30 slot, and the 2003 travesty of a game was a noon start.

I think they love it before the game, but during and after they hate it. Or at least that's probably how they felt 2 years ago. Hopefully it won't be a sloppy game from our guys like what it has been the last 3 years.

No game was worse than the 2001 game.

Nothing better than putting the smack down on the vols and butchy on national tv. Might be the game that gets butchy the boot.

Last years might have been worse. It was awful.

Didn't cost us the title. Can't be worse.

2001, cost us the SEC, but at least it was a competitive game. Last year was a $hit storm of who wanted it less. Just a real $hit storm of football. We should have won against Tennesse in 2001, but it wasn't a 3 hour soul crushing experience.

The last two years of this game have been dreadful football. Last year was obviously a cluster F from beginning to end, but remember the 6 combined turnovers in the first half two years ago? '12 was a great game but it's been fugly ever since.

If we win it he should. He would have zero excuse to lose to us this year. First year coaching staff, first year qb, brand new oline. Third season is the put up or shut up season for a coach, and he's already been shut up once in his own house against a very pedestrian OU. He should have been placed on the hot seat after last year's abortion, but a loss this year should be an instant boot. No checkered board, butt chugging, sister humping, foul mouth chanting inbreds to fall back on during the game this year. He's going to realize he's doomed when he's talking to his players in the locker room and the walls start shaking as our boys run out of the tunnel.

You ever considered writing adventure stories? I found that line about the walls shaking tittilating.
