GCMB Score Contest Thread - Gators vs. NMSU

Hello, minions! Ox didn't want to do the score contest this year, he's too busy trying to be the next Stuart Scott (only even whiter). So I've taken up the torch (candle) that is the score contest and will be running with it faster than your grandmother with a cheetah taped to her back.

Wasn't there a format we had to use?

So here are the rules:

1. Predict the total points scored by both teams for the New Mexico St. game.

2. As a tiebreaker, put in parentheses the total number of points that will be scored in the first half.

3. Whoever is closest to the total without going over is this week's big winner.

4. Deadline each week to enter is midnight of game day. And for all you west coasters out there, that's midnight Eastern time.

Point distribution will be as follows:

1st place: 5 points
2nd place: 3 points
3rd place: 1 point

If you guess the total points on the nose, you get 10 bonus points and a vial of Wobble's pit sweat.

I don't have prizes other than the greatest gift of all. So you can constantly barrage Ox with questions about prizes, because I won't have any.

This contest is far from official - Sasquatch didn't say a word to me. I had already given Carib the go ahead to try a slightly different format this year. This particular format from last year had participation dwindle week by week until nobody gave a damn.

Carib is going to post his up tonight and then the board can make a choice as to what we want to do.

I really don't care if you don't use this one. Nobody could give me a straight answer as to what was going on this year so I just did it. One less thing for me to worry about.
