Foley fires up the jet and heads to Marshall. He struck coaching gold when he pulled Billy Donovan out of Marshal. Can he do it again with Doc Holliday?

First three years are unimpressive. But 2013 won the conference and is 7-0 in the current season.

From Wikipedia:
In 2005, Holliday traveled to the University of Florida and became the Gators' associate head coach, safeties coach, and recruiting coordinator under head coach Urban Meyer. In 2005, Holliday was named one of Rivals.com's Top 25 Recruiters, while also tutoring a secondary that only allowed 52.3% of passing to be completed which was 16th best in the nation.
He guided safety Reggie Nelson to a consensus All-American honor and to become a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and Bronko Nagurski Trophy in 2006. Also in that season, the Gators' pass defense efficiency was fourth-ranked nationally and second in the SEC while only surrendering a nationally tenth-ranked 10 touchdowns all season and sixth in the nation in scoring defense.

We all know Foley loves to "discover" talent. This may just fit his MO.

He's retiring next year and went to WV to be closer to his father.

Doc. He's old, man, late 50s. And he looks even older than he is. Great recruiter but a defensive guy who, I don't think, has ever even been a coordinator.

His dad is no spring chicken and Doc gets to go home to see him every evening. His work plans might change given that he's on a run. He might work three more years, but if he does it will be at WVU or Marshall only.

If you finish out the expression with young and dumb, sort of shines the light on why Foley may be keeping Muschamp. Disturbing.
