The gameplan they put together was great and the players were prepared and motivated. I expected to see a broken and unenthusiastic team and got the exact opposite. Now to really impress me Roper is gonna have to work some pass plays in to the offense. I kept thinking to myself during the game that we were gonna hit them with some play action and it never happened. Not that I blame them for sticking with the running game, but we cant be as one dimensional as we were today for the rest of the year.

All in all it was great beating Georgia, and i am happy for our players. We now have some much needed momentum and a little bit of positivity. Hopefully we can keep it because we have some very winnable games ahead of us, and this type of performance would be a matchup nightmare for a Seminole team that cant run the ball and has trouble stopping the run. I am now happy to say that I look forward to next week.

Well the players executed well, made few mistakes and that makes a great difference in the result. The offense moved the ball and the defense got off fairly well, that makes a huge difference.

Hopefully they can have a similar level of intensity for Vandy. Probably a big ask. Might have to replace some of the intensity level with some increased confidence and swagger. Go have some fun boys.

Great win for Gator Nation and this coaching staff, no doubt!

That was Chimp's version of the perfect offense. Very balanced. We ran left and right equally well.

Somewhere, in a Motel 6, Ray Goof is proud of his protege.

I suspect we'll see more of the offense in the coming weeks. I have to believe that Roper's confidence calling ball plays had to be damaged by JD's constant mistakes and worse, turnovers. Having a QB that doesn't implode like clockwork each Saturday - even if he is a true freshman - will gradually allow them to run more of the offense.

We did what we had to do to beat the Humpers, but that one-dimensional approach won't work against USCe or the Clowns. We'll have to open it up and throw the ball to have any chance against either of them. I actually think we'll be favored now against the Cocks and I like our chances. The Clowns, well, I'll need to see a lot more to like our odds against them on the road...

I have zero problem with the gameplan. I would've liked for them to develop Treon's passing a bit more, but UGA literally could not stop the run even when they knew it was coming. I've knocked this coaching staff a lot, but they put together a fantastic gameplan which the players executed perfectly. I do hope to see a bit more passing against Vandy. We really need to develop Treon by the time we head up to Tally. I don't want a repeat of 2012 UGA and UL where we lost because Driskel was finally asked to throw the ball.

There was nothing wrong with running the ball if it's working. It was pretty much the same play every time as well. Did anyone else see how well the WRs were blocking down field. I think Robinson was big in both of KT's big runs in addition to the double block on Jones' run.

Isn't Leak the WR coach? He should get some props for the WR play this game. They did a great job.

This. I could not be more proud of Robinson.

They went with what worked and that's run it down their throats can't blame em for that. I think we all would have like to see a passing play called but who can complain when you beat the #10 ranked team in the country by damn near 20.

I'm curious when running the ball very effectively became one of the great evils.

Another point that has probably been mentioned here is the weather. That wind was ridiculous. Really no reasons to gamble with Treon's confidence in a setting like that. Don't forget that Wuerffel and Grossman were both pulled in their first Cocktail Parties because, despite being solid to that point, they couldn't handle the pressure of this game. Throw in bad weather(also a huge factor in '93)' and the fact that it was his first ever start, and I'm glad we didn't have to throw him to the wolves.

No issue with the gameplan.

I'm sure Georgia's coaches were hoping we'd start slinging it around. I know they didn't want to see another running play.

Don't be obtuse. No one is complaining about a good running game, we just know that the HC who is equally slow-witted as you will view this as confirmation that he should never again pass the ball.

"Coach" please remind us again what it is you coach.

Was muschamp more relaxed because he knows his fate is sealed? He looked like he enjoyed this game more and I was glad to see him post game...Either, he knows he is a goner, or this could be a major turning point in his style of coaching...
