Have a safe and happy Independence Day. I'm gonna eat like a pig, drink(beer) like a fish and enjoy the beach while I'm on vacation but I'm also gonna be giving a thankful thought out to all the members of our Armed Forces past and present who have kept us Independent and free and the Greatest country on earth.
Also special thanks to all first responders especially those that are working on this Holiday to keep us safe..Happy 4th ya'll.

Happy Independence Day, fellow patriots and Gators!!!

We’re celebrating by living out of luggage and boxes as I report to my new command tomorrow in Norfolk, VA! The movers show up with our stuff next week. The good news is that our new digs give us balcony seats for the downtown fireworks display tonight.

BTW - also proud to report that our youngest is in the middle of a summer semester class at VMI, which lets her get her feet wet prior to fall semester when the yelling starts. She’s aiming to get an Air Force commission upon graduation.
