Right….since he is the reason it is 8 years late! “We are NOT going to get into a facilities race.”

There’s at least one booster still enamored with him.

It’s amazing that you can inherit one great coach, have another gift-wrapped by the then President, and completely botch the other three hires, but still be considered great at your job.

Foley fought AGAINST a complex like that his entire career. It's outrageous his name is anywhere near it.

He needs to be in prison.

I always knew he’d have his name honored in one of these things, for his unparalleled contributions and integral role in the recent success of the football program. I just assumed it would be at the ones in Athens and Tuscaloosa.

If we want to properly honor Foley's achievements we're going to need a lot more tar and feathers.

The players new living quarters may have a bigger impact on recruiting and the day to day lives of the players than the new complex.

This is great stuff. It's also absolutely outrageous it wasn't done years ago. Foley had a huge fundraising opportunity in 2007 when UF held football and basketball titles at the same time - donors would have been falling all over themselves to give money at that time. He could have raised enough to install solid gold toilets. Instead, he did NOTHING - just let student athletes rot in what was known as "Section 8 Housing" for decades.

I liked this post because it is the absolute truth. Foley sucks.
