HOF locked

Ok, so we create as HOF section - great.

And we move threads worthy of said status into there - great.

However, it is locked for replies - not so great. I understand preserving the greatness of such threads, and not wanting garbage threads started in there, but can we simply set the forum to 'no new threads' while allowing replies (that can be policed as needed)? Otherwise you are effectively sealing greatness in a carbonite when it may have some greatness still to come.

It's your site to run as you see fit and answer to no one. However, I'd be curious as to your reasoning beyond "I said so".

To make you happy, I've moved that thread back into the Main Sports Forum. After a number of weeks when I'm sure no one else has any final thoughts, I'll then move it to the HOF.

After all, I want to make sure you start sleeping at night again.
