Though the article is nice, would prefer a better source than Bleacher Report.

That's all I got. I wonder though. They cant possibly be thinking that Muschamp is gong to develop them. I think its more like its Florida. They will dominate when I get on the field. These are 17 yr olds we are talking about.

A lot of very large ego kids come to Florida because just that, it's Florida we will dominate. If they want me, I've got it. I'm assuming many of the top recruits are waiting to see what happens it's really a business decission.

Our recruiting issues are simple. If we win we'll have a decent class if lose it we'll be a coaching change and a slim class

You assume that recruits are telling the truth?? I bet they are spinning it somewhat.

The longer they wait to put Roper in as the interim HC they higher the chances that some of those highly rated recruits will choose to go somewhere else. Especially the offensive players.

That's a thought … Roper goes interim HC and wins with good scoring offense, then, recruits O & D will be attracted.
From no-life to plus-life.

Foley is going to have to really get a homerun hire this time.

UF should be one of the most desirable HC jobs in the country - very fertile recruiting ground, lots of $$$, great academics and weather.

If he gets the right guy, recruits will follow tho' this year's class won't be optimized.

USCW managed a great class because they knew the team was much better than the shiiiit Half Kiff put on the field and they improved drastically the week Kiff was fired. They also knew that USCW would get a great coach after the Kiff disaster.

We could be in the same boat if we'd neuter the Head Dawg immediately.

More evidence that Chimp is the best recruiter in the history of forever.

If Foley had made the move last year when he should have, UF wouldn't be currently at 32. They'd have 3-5 stars in Jefferson, Cowart and Ivey. They'd have Holland and at least Cain and/or McCloud as very high 4 stars. That class would be in top 5.

It's depressing to think about. Nobody believes me when I say how much it set the program back by retaining him.

Well, there is something to the fact that taking this job with Treon and Grier waiting in the wings is much more desirable than another year trying to nurse 1000 yards out of Jeff Drizkle (as Chimp calls him).

Of course, Roper was able to flip Treon in a few weeks and Cheeseburger was able to flip Brissett, so I'm sure whomever we hired last year could have pulled off similar coup.
