Over the past few years, throwing for over 200 yards has seemed like a minor miracle. So I'm wondering how many yards Driskel (and his backup, whoever he is) will pass for against Idaho?

My guess - 249 yards. Not too few yards to cause panic, not too many yards to cause overconfidence.

PS - our running backs should run for 200 yards minimum versus Idaho, hopefully 300 yards

I think the over/under should be set around 230.

I think it will be around 300, and that is with more rushing attempts than passing. I suspect we'll see some deeper passes and big plays due to WRs getting the ball in space. A screen that goes 40 yards will help pad the stats a bit. Also the coaches have said for weeks that the back up will play to gain experience, so they'll let him throw the ball some for that reason.

First 300 yard passing game since Nov. 19, 2011.

I am going with 340. I think that JD will have around 230-240. That will leave the balance for the backups. Think Robinson has a good day.

300+. I will literally stop watching of we get into run the football mode with much needed passing confidence. This game will be the tell all sign if we really have changed.

Roper's last Duke team (last year) threw for 300+ yards only 5 times, although they also had games of 297, 292 and 274. I'll go with 280.

Totally agree, hopefully Muschump knows that we now care about HOW we win nearly as much as if we win. If we get into run-all-the-time mode when we're up 21 (even if we put up lots of yards), then we know Muschump has stayed in control.

I'm feeling a good round number like 320.

I'm expecting at least 2 completions of 40+ yds!

^^I'm riding on his coat tails. Sounds good to me!

Against Miami Driskel threw for 291 which is as close as need be to 300, Dunbar,Fullwood, robinson etc should be able to rack up beaucoup yac against the spud fvkkers. I also think some of you are setting yourself for disappointment , Roper has always said that his is a run heavy system.I wouldn't expect the fun and gun , I think our passing game will be vastly improved, I would guess we'll probably do 300 - 350 yds. I would like to see how he utilizes ALL our rb's, it would be nice to get Lane and Powell a bunch of touches to get them used to college speed and the large crowds.

Muschamp only allows us to throw forward passes in practice to help the D prep for the opposition. 80 passing yards only because someone will disobey muschamp... while he's with his D huddled by the bench going over strategy on the dry-erase board.

Better be 300 + . Idaho's defense is a joke, and there should be plenty of YAC.

I would be absolutely shocked if it was more than 300. I'm expecting in the range of 250.

That's what I was thinking at first, but I think there will be a lot of quick slants and screens, and the YAC will start piling up. Plus they will take a few deep shots.

I watched a video of an Idaho practice. Their 1 star QB ran for a TD almost every other play against their defense. Their defense is horrible, truly horrible. We'll have like 300 yards rushing and 400 yards passing unless we fumble or throw an interception on half our possessions.

sounds like it was also the spark that also led you to "love the one you're with" , regardless of their sex

When I was 15 I was on a family Trip in Florence. I left the hotel after dark and walked down to the Arno by myself. At some point I noticed a large group of young travelers hanging out in the middle of a bridge. The entire group was singing "Love the one you're with" around a guy with a guitar. It was quite a moment for a young man with burgeoning wanderlust. I think about it every time hear that song, and I often wonder if that was the spark that made me a constant traveler for almost 40 years.

:exactly: that is why they invented purgatory to make sure they get even more suffering that what they had here on earth

That face. Endearing love. Impeccable loyalty. And can’t believe you’re lounging around right now with your desk looking that way.
