Yeah, again, i am LOATHE to sound like I am defending them, but no, I don't think anyone was ready for the scope of this thing especially given the "normal" hurricane damage in FL/GA, then throw NC/TN on top of that... and there is a lot of scrambling going on.

It's the equivalent of the whole military/DOD conundrum of ability to "fight two HICs simultaneously" and "fight two HICs nearly simultaneously"... whatever da fuk the latter meant.

Damage all the way through Kentucky, this storm was massive. Almost as large as P. Diddy's party guess list over the years...

Well I hope the inadequate response from a Presidentless administration helps the affected states know for whom they should not vote.

If that is in fact the case, yes, I agree.

I don't think you fellas understand what this is going to take logistically... the idea that you would "send trucks full 'o schit" in the general direction of NC (or appropriate state) is asinine.

This is going to require an ASSAULT, an INVASION by both active Army and National Guard... I am guessing it will involve damn near the entire fleet of CH-47s within 500 miles, like out of the 101st's aviation brigade, everything down at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah... these are NOT things that would be part of a FEMA plan.

Politics aside, if that is not in motion behind the scenes, we are beyond fukked as a nation.

I'm not sure the rainbow hair, drug-infested majority of Ashville will want anything to do with aid from the Military Industrial Complex Nazis.

Yeah, this is a logistical nightmare. Those trucks have to have a destination, either a staging area or point of distribution (POD) to go to. Support has to be in place to unload and give stuff out. Under the best of circumstances this takes time and is even more complicated than it sounds.

Florida should be fine - we have lots of practice - and no topography issues.

Yep... I mean look at those videos in MOUNTAIN valleys (complete with mist/fog), with every inch of flat ground covered in debris, and you need not just an LZ for a single MD-500 dropping off bottled water inside the disaster area, but a massive LZ/staging area to operate from... it's a nightmare.

The mail situation up there has to be horrible. I'm sure some offices are just gone. I know they work out of tractor trailers and have before in "normal" hurricane situations until it gets better. But I can tell you, that's a job up there.

Just know that if the affected area is unable to vote Trump loses NC.....no questions about it.Don't think for a second that Biden, Harris, Buttplug and anyone else involved doesn't realize that....Yes there are logistical issues but also a political one that is key to Trump and Cooper is out regardless as governor so why would he give a sh!t.

It appears WV was smarter. Just bulldoze the top off some mountains and call it an airport. Or NG base, etc.

In TN, they are lucky the cops busted them and not armed citizens. They might have been shot and dumped in a river.
I was thinking the same thing....If I were to loot somewhere after a storm that would be near the bottom of my list of places to do it along with La. Al. Ga. and probably most areas in Florida too...

Knocked in the head and dumped would have looked rather natural considering the circumstances.

Nobody in that whole area is voting for Trump
