Think about this while you wait for the season to start and find out how improved our offense will be...

We won't have to worry about seeing Trey Burton in the wildcat this year. :stars:

That said, I appreciate everything Trey did for us while he was at UF. I just hated Brent Pease's timing and play calling from this formation and am glad I never have to see it again.

I loved that kid's attitude. But I couldnt watch when that play was dialed up.

I suspect we'll see Harris in the wildcat this year unless he doesn't live up to the hype in fall camp.

There's a big difference. Harris is a true QB and can throw the ball. Everyone knew Burton was going to run with it.

I don't know why we'd take out a running QB to replace him with a running QB. It has never made any sense.

Ridiculous. We got 56 yards on 12 carries using the Treycat. And it was our plan to win against the Clowns. It would have worked perfectly if he hadn't been hurt on the first play. Trashcamp is such a genius.

That play would have been better if they let Trey throw occasionally. When that play was called, everyone in the stadium knew a run was dialed up. Trey was a solid player though. Bottom line, Pease blows.

Trey was a great gator. He wasn't part of a very winning era of gator football but he still found a way to make an impact. And in his 4 years he was always apart of a bad offense yet he still made plays here and there. I hope he can find a role in the nfl.

The reason we have had a bad offense is because it was based on Trey Burton, Jeff Driskel, Jeff Brantley, Deonte Thompson, Andre Debuse and many equally poor players. I don't care really if a few of them had four or five good plays. They just weren't good enough for the SEC.

Speaking of Emotes, why can't I get them to show up in my posts? I can open them, but, when I click on one of them, nothing happens. Do you have to do more than click on one of them?

In this case, it would be done to reduce the number of hits Driskel takes. If Harris is effective at throwing, to keep the defense from stacking the box, it makes sense. We loved it when Tebow was used for the same purpose.

In 2012 I actually thought the wildcat was used mostly at good times, but last year it was a total buzz kill for drives and we used it at the worst times. I'm proud we had Trey here though.

I absolutely agree with you and t-gator. Glad Burton came to UF and appreciate all he did while here. It was Pease's horrible timing and play selection out of the (quoting Law here) "Treycat" that I hated. Not Trey.

I'll give you Thompson,he had the worst hands I'd ever seen on a div 1 football player, hell jelani Jenkins had better hands. Brantley' s career would have been different had he gone to south Carolina imo. Debuse has been injury and really hasn't lived up either I'll give you him aswell. But trey could have played for anybody. I don't think he was a go to guy for a good SEC offense but he could have gotten some touches anywhere. I don't think it's completely fair to say he wasn't SEC caliber because the whole stadium knew when he was going to touch it. My only knock on trey is he was a non factor in big games.
