I was reading the Memphis news and ran across this Tennessee football: Melvin McBride taking a medical retirement McBride, who signed with Tennessee in December and enrolled in May, is the fifth UT offensive lineman to take a medical disqualification this offseason. (Photo: 247Sports) Offensive linemen Devante Brooks, Chance Hall, Tanner Antonutti and Eric Crosby already moved onto medical exemption scholarship. UT also had linebacker Darrin Kirkland and tight end James Brown retire due to injury. McBride committed to Tennessee in August 2018. He graduated from Memphis Whitehaven. Might be trimming dead wood or might be a lot of injuries. Comment as you desire.
