Great,deal....TV included?

no, but they always run a contract deal where you can get all 3 (internet, TV, & phone) for $33-$35/each per month. I have an antenna that I can pick up 27 stations on, including all the major networks, so I don't pay for TV (Netflix subber though - 8 yrs skrong) - who has a home phone any more (besides my mom who never uses it)?

Cable One
100Mbps
$55/month

Never heard of them. How has service been? I see that they have data caps. Has that been an issue? My house is online ALL THE TIME. Not sure if that will work.

I have Comcast as well and hate them. I just raised my rates up to $150 a month for the 75mb internet and 250 channels. I cancelled my service two weeks ago right before going on vacation. When I got back they had left me like 5 messages wanting me to call them. They gave me the same service and dropped the rate to $79 a month.

Service has been pretty good. The cap has recently been an issue. If you go over the cap 3 times in a year they will upgrade you to a higher cap level. I just received my second notice (didn't see the first one from April) stating if I go over again I'll be upgraded. my bill ends on the 20th and I'm at 240GB of the 300 allowed :suspect:

here's how they lay it out.
100Mbps down, 3Mbps up, 300GB - $55/mo
150 down, 4 up, 400GB - $80
200 down, 10 up, 500GB - $105
200 down, 10 up, 750GB - $135
200 down, 10 up, 1000GB - $255

they are proud, but U-Verse is slow.

How many people are using under this data cap?
Make sure that your streaming sites like Netflix aren't set to autoplay the next show in the series.
If you have a standalone like Roku it will keep playing even if your tv is turned off. Kids are bad to burn your data cap this way.

Upload speed looks slow. You might make sure QoS is enabled in your router and set your Upstream to manual. Enter in 40,000 Kbps and then be sure to save your settings.

I also have century link 6mbps that doesn't go above 4....and that's a godsend. Before I moved into this house this past October, I had 512kbps. I can actually stream Netflix now lol.

I have Verizon FIOS 50/50. Pay 35/month for internet only - waited for the best offer to come in the mail then switched. No need for TV/phone, as I have an antenna for broadcast channels and netflix/amazon prime/watchespn gives me more than enough viewing options.

my kids & I = 4
went in and changed the Netfilx settings to kill the autoplay and decrease the definition to standard (480).

I'm looking into U-Verse now. The have a package that's $50/month, 18Mbps and a 600 GB data cap. U-Verse & Cable One are the only options I have besides crappy satellite internet. I think I may give U-Verse a try.
The $50 includes the modem/router combo, so there will be no need to buy anything (although I just upgraded my modem & router a few months ago)

That sounds like a good deal, I wished I could find something like and I would get rid of Comcast's crappy service.

Changed names, but can still get offers.

I called the Verizon fios number and after gathering all my personal info under false pretenses I finally got an agent who after 10 minutes tried to refer me to friggin century link and told me Verizon left FL last April

That's odd, they were still stomping around here looking for customers...

Correct. It's Frontier now. I just changed to Brighthouse. $58 for 200mbps. That promotion ended in June but they honored it for me today.
