Lost in all the buzz is the fact that I think we get Copeland back this week after he tore his meniscus pre-season.

I've seen a few comments about it, but it sounds like it will be decided in the week based on how he looks. I'm always a little hesitant to bring someone new into the system in a big game with any significant time, but another good set of hands is always a plus.

He’s headed for a RS...wouldn’t expect to see him unless we are up big against someone

We should definitely play him for 4 games. Not saying I’d play him vs LSU, though I wouldn’t mind seeing him get a chance on a sweep or screen. Wanna see what he can do in space.

I wouldn't...if we use him at all then use him vertically. I dont want a guy coming off a knee injury to be cutting

I agree with chferg. RS this season (let him play a few games at the end of season, but retain the RS for this year). Not a need right now with our WR corps the way it is.

If he’s not healthy enough to cut then he shouldn’t be out there IMO. But I’m good with vertical shots to him as well :)

I say redshirt him. We’re not lacking depth at WR. He’ll be ready to hit the ground running next year.

He's supposed to be back from injury this week, and practicing. I doubt he plays. He likely gets into a few games, due to the new transfer rule. But he's not needed at all. On the other hand, if he's as good as advertised he won't be here 4 years anyway so might as well get him on the field.

It wont matter if he does.

Unless he can play CB.

But he's not a "failed WR" (yet, at least).

I’d sit him this week and then give him a small shot against Vandy. Use up his 4 games and RS him. I can’t wait to see why he can do.

Benchpressing 405 baby!!! That is three times as strong as the typical Butters lineman.

But can he stay healthy long enough?

... I thought they were announcing he had to start rehab all over 'cause his band-aid came off prematurely?

Actually, I'm thinking Copeland contributes solidly this season.

The better question is: how many WR's can bench press 405 and only have 1 career reception?
