Well, we are ranked 30th after our 6-7 season last year, behind such powerhouses as Tennessee and Kentucky and even Arkansas. Meanwhile the Utes did pretty well last year and are bringing back a lot of their heavy hitters including a very good QB, thus their number 4 ranking. Honestly not sure why anybody would be confident in our chances here.

Well, the betting line is Utes -2. We'll see what happens. Always a crapshoot at the beginning of a year, and an even bigger crapshoot after such huge program changes. I sure hope, like everyone here, that CBN's system and approach translates into much higher performance than we saw last year. Heck, just putting the best players on the team on the field for the majority of snaps would be a massive improvement. Game is definitely going to be a box of chocolates, I just hope they aren't all coconut.
