I feel even better about my Arizona Cardinals survivor pick now.

Jacobby is better than what they started last week, Luck might be out for the whole first half of the season. If you are playing a surivivor league, pick what ever team is playing the Colts.

Cam Newton is an All Star, Brissett is a starter, Driskel is on a practice squad roster, and Will Grier is lighting it up.
We have become the US Army of college football (A great place to start).

Come to UF and transfer and your ticket is punched.

Driskel is actually on Injured Reserve as of Sept 4th, which means he was on the teams roster before that to happen.

To bad. With competent coaching Brissett could have been a real gunslinger here, maybe even tossing passes to Jeff Driskel, the tight end/Jordan Reed redux.

Sad. The last decade we have forced square peg in a round hole (Meyer with Brantley), forced a failed offensive scheme due to stubbornness and inadaptibility (Chump with Driskel and Brissett) and lost a QB who could have made a difference through, ignorance, ineptitude and all-around idiocy (Butters with Grier and his insistence on keeping Nuss). Just plain sad.

Yep Driskel is proof some teams will keep 3rd string QBs on a roster for a couple of years just because of their physical attributes no matter their play on the field.

What play on the field? Has he gotten any real time game reps yet?

Third QB is the emergency QB. Not so much a camp arm. Usually a developmental guy... similar to how Dallas kept Rush this year.

I was waiting for someone to post a comment like this. It stung reading it. Especially the part about Will Grier lighting it up at West Virginia. smh.

Good luck to Jacoby.

What team's practice squad is Driskel on? I wish it was the Jags.

Bengals, for now. Rumor is he gets cut once he comes off IR. Theycannot cut you while on IR. He needs to milk rhe last few paychecks.

Maybe consider baseball.

ESPN did a poll of the quarterbacks with the most poise over the past 25 years. Brissett came in third behind Dalai Lama and Dr. Phil.

Milk it as long as possible. Him playing baseball will be interesting he has talent. But if you can hang on an NFL roster for 3 or 4 years and get that money get those benefits do it.
