I guess the lesson here is to know societal rules, as skewed and contradictory as the may be, and find a way to express yourself other than videoing and posting to social media where every viewer is a potential judge and jury. This might be a stretch to some, but I think it’s relative to understand that we are not a nation anymore, but a patchwork of pockets of different beliefs and value systems, tribes as it were. We are far removed from what we fought the British for almost 250 years ago. No wonder we find ourselves being herded by a socialist/communist governmental regime.
Apologies for waxing political. There was a time that sports were about competition instead of a public forum for change and dominance of certain social values. I’ll die believing that the main purpose of sports is how you measure against competitors on the fields and in the gyms.
