Smart might have been the best recruiter Saban had. Ala only has eleven commitments right now. That is an unusually low number for them at this time of year.

Didn't the older brother play UF, maybe he is playing UGa similarly and willl sign with UF. We certainly did NOT want him playing UF and costing UF other RBs.

GIven that Davis has 3 years left, Perine has two years, Scarlet has two years left possibly, UF also has Lemons and UF has an RB commitment who plans to be an early enrollee, UF is not that attractive to another RB and does not really need to add another to the roster.

Scarlett will never play another down here, so he is done. If a recruit is afraid of Perine, then he can't be that good. Davis has 2 years left if he stays on the same path. No RB who can play in the NFL stays 4 years unless he gets hurt like the kid at UGA, but even that is rare. BTW, UGA has a true frosh RB who looks just as good as their upperclassmen, so their depth chart is just as crowded as any other SEC school.
