He looks so uncomfortable... I do find it funny that the only line they give him is yelling! Is this really what is selling recruits these days? I hope Mac doesn't do this.

Espn asked McElwain about it during his carwash, which means that Harbaugh is just keeping himself in the news cycle.

He said it's not his thing, but didnt' say anything bad about it.

Mac is really "thinking outside the box" with that wardrobe. He's sporting the "Chinese Fingercuffs Tie and Plaid Jacket" look. Nice.

What Harbaugh is doing is an example of a coach trying to play down to the level of his players instead of trying to elevate the players to his level. This kind of thing is happening all too often today. Coaches should lead not follow.

Cringe worthy.

Might be "cringe worthy" to us, but it likely has appeal to its target audience, 17-18-year-old kids. You know, the actual recruiting targets he's collecting by the bushel while we're not (at least yet, anyway).

Whether its making videos, or whatever, Mac needs to step it up on the recruiting trail and now. There's no way we should be struggling as much as we are. And I have been a Mac pumper from before he was hired.

Losing that horrid jacket might be a good start....

I know I'm probably get called out on this but. I think Harbaugh is a little over hyped. Big mouth with nothing to show for it. One good year at Stanford in 2010, but had Andrew Luck. No big bowl wins, no super bowls. He's a good coach no doubt. I just don't think he's on Urb, and Sabans level like people like to make him out to be. He may be the 3rd best coach in there Division behind Urban and Dantonio.

Overall college record 39-24 (.619pct)

Mark Dantonio has a slightly higher win pct at. 105-50 (.677pct)

Huh? He made Stanford football relevant. Meatchicken has been horrible for a decade and he flipped them around in one year.

Stanford the 5 years before him:
2006 Pac-10 1 11 0 Walt Harris (1-11)
2005 Pac-10 5 6 0 Walt Harris (5-6)
2004 Pac-10 4 7 0 Buddy Teevens (4-7)
2003 Pac-10 4 7 0 Buddy Teevens (4-7)
2002 Pac-10 2 9 0 Buddy Teevens (2-9)
His 4 years at Stanford:
2010 Pac-10 12 1 0 Jim Harbaugh (12-1)
2009 Pac-10 8 5 0 Jim Harbaugh (8-5)
2008 Pac-10 5 7 0 Jim Harbaugh (5-7)
2007 Pac-10 4 8 0 Jim Harbaugh (4-8)

How about The University of San Diego (stint prior to Stanford)?

Of course we know about the turn around at Meatchicken. With an absolutely mindnumbing beating he put on our boys in the bowl game.
