How about a Mullet? Disco? Hip Hop? And then Trans-Gender?
Mullet are good fried and broiled with lemon butter. No opinion on Disco; I was pulling alert and defending democracy for that anomaly. Hip Hop is fine for the culturally challenged. No such thing as the last item; total fabrication by media.

Styles, Music...don't bother me. What I am most concerned about is: Lack of Respect, Lack of National Pride, Lack of Civic Knowledge, Pro-Socialism, Lack of Spiritual Faith, Lack of Family, PRO-ME ism

As for Toney...I am glad he's back. He is unique...and no he is is not Percy.

But if for nothing else, I am tired of going into the START of a season 7-8 Scholarships Down. We always lose guys to the Portal, Grades, Stupidity (I guess that could be redundant)...

I've said this many times...Good Teams have starting (#1) talent...GREAT TEAMS have talent at #3.....

Exactly. I grew up with WW II vets as teachers and mentors. My heroes have always been heroes, not media darlings and sports figures. It was about duty to God and Country. Robert E. Lee called duty the sublimest word in the English language. When a culture substitutes self gratification and aggrandizement for duty, that culture will not endure very long. OK, probably not the thread or forum for this but I am retiring next Friday and have started waxing philosophically.

Great teams do have talent at #3. As far as Toney is concerned I think he needs a compass, the idea is to advance North and South. He needs to learn to harness that fantastic talent and make meaningful cuts that advance the ball in those directions. More creative play calling that doesn't telegraph where we're going when he's in would help also. So far I don't think he's been the big splash that was advertised.

Congrats on your impending retirement. Even though I started a new job the next week after retiring on a Friday, popping smoke was an awesome feeling. FYI - It also will feel a little weird for a bit.

Thank y'all. I have failed retirement twice before, from the Air Force and then from Abbott Labs. This time I am determined not to fail:).

After watching SF's zone running attack on Sunday I think having a guy like Toney coming across the backfield ON ALMOST EVERY PLAY would be a huge plus for our offense and running game in general...…Teams would have to respect and account for him and not crash down killing any kind inside zone running play....

Very good idea, but to counter that the defense would only have to say that their O-line sux so we don;t need to put extra guys in the box. Our running game is going no where until we get at least a Pop Warner capable O-line.

@ltraz was proposing this all year. Mullen has done a great job but he needs to add more wrinkles to update the offense. This seems like an easy one.

I am not disagreeing with your thesis at all, what I am saying is no matter how many guys are in the box that we are supposed to block is irrelevant. 2, 3,4 does not matter. We can't run block anyone.

This is good news.

Now let's f**king DO something with him instead of putting him 2 or 3 times a game in formations that telegraph to any idiot watching that he's getting the ball. o_O

I dont think you are allowed to question our offensive guru and his 60th ranked offenses.

60th ranked off. and the team ranked 6th. Our def. must carry this team or something about our off. is working. Don't get me wrong. I revel in this mediocrity. I always have while attending probably 200 gator football games. While celebrating so hard our first SEC title the officer asked me to get off the hood and get back in my car. I almost did not survive the SOS and Donovan years with the titles and great players. The mediocrity of Mullen and all his sorry ass coaches and players have somewhat revived me and I may live another 3 decades knowing my team is back to "Wait till next year". Thank GOD for great gator fans that can continually regal us with how bad we are to prod the even worse AD and admin. to spend the correct amount of money for water slides in heated pools, hot tubs and video game rooms.
