How this rolls out will probably be sordid but more interesting than 4 months of nothing to do but read the bile vomited in these pages about Napier's coaching & mgmt abilities.
Definitely an interesting watch. The thing is, do the Defendants (and/or UF) really want to go through discovery? The amount of emails and phone/text logs that a liberal view of discovery would allow due to the agency questions may be something they don't want. Much less any depositions.

Fed Court is not really like state court with respect to discovery. They tend to not allow the plaintiffs to spend 3 years punishing the defendant and demanding every document the defendant had ever created. The discovery is much more narrowly tailored to what's actually at issue in the case versus a 3-5 year punitive fishing expedition.

Billy's the one making $50 million. I'm sure he's the one who loves it the most.

Or maybe his wife.
It literally pisses you off when we win a game. You couldnt enjoy anything regardless of the situation we are in. I know that you and you alone are the know it all when it comes to football. While nearly the entire board is unhappy with our coach and our current state, we still pull for our players to succeed. We actually enjoy winning even though we dont care for our current coach. You simply hate everything and anything and cant wait to pounce on anyone that tries to support their team. You consider anyone that cheers us on to win an idiot. You hated Urbs winning 2 NCs. You are an insufferable miserable negative ass. I have seen maybe 2 Billy supporters on this board. Most of us realize we dont have any say so on who our coach is so we simply want us to succeed under the circumstances. I hope you can find something in your life that brings you at least an ounce of joy. I would hate to see you die such a miserable person.

I agree with you. We want our players to do well and our program prestige to accelerate and if Napier bumbles his way to it, so be it.

It's just a shame that he comes across as a guy largely incapable of being a great HC. The more he wins, which we want, the longer he remains our HC. I am thinking of our last preseason(I believe) where he seemed smuggly confident the team was ready, and it turned out we were clearly not to a degree that no qualified HC would have thought so. That could have been his second preseason I am remembering. It's as if he's FOS or literally does not have an eye for or feel for what it really means to be ready to play big time college football. Is he low IQ, weak, delusional? He's definitely slow. The number of times after a loss he congratulated the other team, showing no loss-remorse is incredible. Might he turn the corner this season? Maybe. If our run game improves and our Defense from end of last season shows up, we should be pretty good- better.

If we can't put it to georgia this season, when?

Most of us believe he should have already been gone. I would have fired him already. That being said, I hope we kick kirbys ass. I am not going to pull for us to lose no matter what.

Well...all that and he went full Lame Kitten fan boi last season. Before that he was toasting vodka shots for that loser down at usf. He is fine with losers, they just have to be his losers.

Listen, I have bad news for you. No matter how hard you cheer, Retard is a retard. It isn't going to change a thing.

You also can "look past the next opponent" or even ignore game prep all week. It isn't going to change a thing.

We are just fans watching this clown take one step forward and two steps back. Or last year, two steps back and one step forward.

I cant imagine how you'd react if Retard could win 10 games in less than 1.5 years, like Kiffin did.

At Muhssippi.

Again.

For the third time in 5 years.

At Muhssippi.

With half the budget of Retard.

You'd probably walk around with your dick in your hand for two months. Luckily we will never know because it's time to get off this shortbus and leave the windowlicker on it.

It would be a lot nicer if there were a youngish offensive coach who understood the forward pass and scoring points who wasn't named Kiffin, but right now there isn't one. The good news is if Deboer phones in another 5 loss season and USC fails again, we might be picking behind Alabama, USC, maybe LSU this year too. Have you been scouring the Sunbelt or MWest for our next below average coach?

The discovery is much more narrowly tailored to what's actually at issue in the case versus a 3-5 year punitive fishing expedition.
The problem is (and I do not practice federal), is that even narrowly tailored here is still decently broad in the sense that you're talking that even if communications were limited to those about Rashada, in to Billy and the others with this agency theory, that is a lot and any direction of Billy for inducement technically is him telling them to violate Florida's inducement statute in place at the time (which is a stupid statute, but in theory could be "cause" down the road). Also, would Napier specifically get around a fraud count if, and this is hypothetical, records indicate he was told via text in writing that the money on signing day would be sent before the phone logs show his call to the Rashada's and he's relating everything in good faith as he understood it? I don't know, but that's because I'm not researching much into this.

The point is, narrowly tailored discovery, even as it relates to this situation, could be broad enough no one wants to give up all communication records (possibly including recruitment strategies) even if it just mentions Rashada in passing.
