But a reporter somewhere said a word that starts with “N” and may have ended with an “R”.

Well he had a 20 year career in a city full of famous people. There's a really good chance he befriended a lot of people a long the way.

Dude, don't act like this wasnt the first NBA player to die.

Huh??

I’m not acting like anything. I find it ridiculous that Mark Cuban jumps into the fray and retires for his team the number of a guy who never played for the Mavs. It’s dumb but Cuban is never one to shy away from putting himself in the limelight and trying to get good publicity/P.R. for himself...no matter how stupid he looks or acts.

Bunch of woke folks. My God, lighten up.

:triggered:
I'm just about as asleep as it gets when it comes to "wokeness," and I think this is taking it too far. Its the day he died for crying out loud, show a little respect. Not saying to weep, cause none of us knew him. Still, joking about his death already is a bit much

Baseball coach John Altobelli daughter Alyssa and wife Keri died in helicopter crash along with Kobe Bryant and his daughter.

Haven’t heard or read any of you “Holier than thou” pay any respect to these folks.

Let recap... latest was 9 died on the chopper. Kobe & Gigi (2), Altobelli’s (3) and a pilot (1). That’s 6 total. Who are the other 3?

Altobelli died on January 26, 2020, in a helicopter crash that also killed his wife Keri, his daughter Alyssa, Kobe Bryant, Bryant's 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and several others.[16] The crash occurred 30 mi (48 km) northwest of downtown Los Angeles.[17][18]. Altobelli's daughter and Bryant's daughter. had been teammates, both members of the Mamba Sports Academy basketball team, and the group was reportedly on their way to a basketball game when the helicopter crashed.[19]

Still in shock. Kobe was probably my favorite athlete EVER. Quite possibly one of the most intelligent, cerebral athletes we’ve seen play any sport. He had ice water in his veins. Never afraid to shine in the biggest of moments. Such an accomplished athlete and businessman. Seemed like a great dad to his daughters by all accounts. Just having my first child, it hit me extra hard hearing his daughter was with him. Just one of the most tragic sports stories in a while. Absolutely shocking...
