They probably got him cheap since we have to pay the difference from 600K this coming season to him.

Not sure why all the hate with him…

I have nothing against him. I was actually surprised he wasn't picked up by someone in college to be their OC for this upcoming season. I bet he regrets signing on with Muschamp however.

Good for him and most NFL jobs are somewhat better than college at least in some regards.

No hate for Roper at all. Anyone who still thinks Chimp didnt eff up the offense is a lead chip eater. He took a chance and screwed up his career by stepping in dawgsh$$. We all still have dawgsh#$ on our shoe.

I think he had a mitigation clause in his contract, so I hope he gets paid a lot.

I don't hate him, I just question if he was every as good as advertised to begin with. He ran Cutcliffe's offense. What has he really proven? His next real offensive coordinating job will tell us how good he is. So far he just looks like another bad hire, like the other offensive talent (both players and coaching) selections of Muschamp.

Blaming Roper for our offense is like blaming Gruden for how bad the Redskins are. I wish him the best of luck. I feel bad that Muschmap conned him and blew up his promising career.

He deserves blame just as much as Pease deserved the blame he received. He still has lots to prove before we go calling him a great offensive coordinator or even a decent one.

Roper proved what all of us already knew. That Musdump what an offensive asshat and no one will ever be able to get the stinch off of him. Wish Roper the best. Its hard to put together a winning offense with that dipstick as a HC. So he's off to Cleveland. It may get worse for him.
