In my Rhapsody, I have a bunch of 90's rock songs:

Brother Cane -- "And Fools Shine On"
Default -- "Wasting My Time"
Eve 6 -- "Inside Out"
Harvey Danger -- "Flagpole Sitta"
Powerman 5000 -- "When Worlds Collide"
Screaming Trees -- "Sweet Oblivion"
Semisonic -- "Closing Time"
(Spacehog)
Toadies -- "Possum Kingdom"
Virgos Merlot -- "Gain"

Saw Eve6 twice, the first time they opened for 3rd Eye Blind in the O'Dome, then they didn't a show at the Covered Dish, arrived 2 hours late.

They were just here in Ocala last year at Bubba Raceway Park with Everclear, Spacehog, and Soul Asylum. They still sound great.

Law - how did you find this one? Do you actually like Hillbilly music? I am quite partial to the banjo, dobro and mandolin (e.g. Roots music or Bluegrass).

Nah, I'm a headbanger and I usually hate bluegrass... though I have occasionally listened to a few Grateful Dead tunes (mostly the ones the Grateful Dead fans don't like) and some of the hilarious bluegrass remakes like this bluegrass remakes of ACDC songs.

That song in the link was also listed when I searched No Rain. For some reason I can't quite explain, I find it intriguing.

I find that bluegrass rap tune that is the theme to Justified pretty funny also. Maybe it's just the thought that there is such a thing as bluegrass rap.

A friend once dragged me off to a folk/bluegrass festival. I was the "weird one" wearing khakis if you were there.

I believe we have further evidence that PatDooleySucks is actually PatDooley.

I like a little bluegrass to go with my green grass every now and again.
Those Barefooters are from Johnson City, TN - where the OBC grew up.

Love me some Allison Krauss and would gladly treat her like a Guernsey or an Ayrshire!

Jerry Douglas has been slaying that dobro for YEARS! Great new band too: Earls of Leicester.
And Alison is a sweetheart. Sings like an angel and gives a great hug.

The Letter

1967- by the box tops

Great song - they had one more 'minor' hit call 'Soul Deep'. their lead guitarist is my guitar teacher here in Tennessee. Alex Chilton - lead singer, was only 16 when he joined the band.
