Looking good Cooter. I hope they are paying you well for all that work and having to eat dead cat chink food.

No pay on this one, these folks are like family. He and I are partners on a couple of deals. I am being compensated for the work I am doing for his nephew (farmhouse).

Update on cabin: exterior paint almost complete. Hard to read the color in this photo, yes it's black, exterior deck and column is a medium stain IMG_3828.jpg

Staying in the cabin this week while the owner is in Marina del Rey. He is the uncle of the guy I'm doing the farmhouse renovation for. He still has a bunch of little things to complete here and a whole slew of new projects, garage retaining walls and landscaping.

The new elk horn chandelier was installed here in the cabin yesterday.

7 does and one young buck feeding below the back deck in the lower pasture tonight-kind of hard to see them

I see them all in that pic.

No offense Cooter, but I’m not a fan of that chandelier. Doesn’t go with the rest of the finishings, IMHO.

I’m not a big fan, but I don’t exactly hate them. However, they’re somewhat common in farmhouses and cabins out in the sticks. The exposed large beams and black iron hardware is the kind of interior I’d expect to see a chandelier like that.
