Yeah that does suck. Hopefully when we beat them again this year, them kids will start to figure out who's the right school to pick.

Since 1980, I've had one request before each season:

Just Beat

We need to do it again next year to keep those maggots in their place.

I'd like to see us get back in Jacksonville. Was reading the T/U and there were a ton of signees at D1 schools, and none to UF. We need to take back Jacksonville. Who's the area recruiter for Jax?

Hopefully we add some strong recruiters w/ these new hires.

Not sure.

Collins had Orlando.

We didn't get anybody out of Tampa for two years. This year we did very well in that entire area. That's because Torrian Gray was the area recruiter for the Tampa/Lakeland/Clearwater area.

That's my neck of the woods. Clemson has taken over that area.

Kane Taylor, where are we on him? I think he'd be a pretty sweet addition to this class.

Agree. He would be a great addition....but he's a "grades issues" kid. Same w/ Byrd.

Curious to see if Byrd and/or Taylor sign w/ anyone.

Jordon Scott (DT that de-committed from us) ended up signing w/ Oregon. WTF?

I like what we got better, though I probably would have thrown LOIs at the Gaddys and hoped one or both qualified. Hard to say without knowing how far away they are academically.

Well, Clemson didn't sign one Jax kid this year.

It's 2012 right? Wow, I'm getting old. Brad Scott (who came from FSU as OL position coach, then the SC as head coach, then Clemson as position coach) and his son (clemson WR coach) both made inroads into the NE florida area in the 2000-2012 timeframe. It's been slim pickings since then (for whatever reasons). My bad.
