Are you thinking of 2014 with Young, Wilbekin, Yuegette, Prather. That was a spectacular team. Went 18-0 in the SEC.

That loss in the final 4 to UConn was heart breaking because we were up something like 16 to 4 at one point. Lost 3 games that year. 2 to UCONN and 1 to Wisconsin, who was a final 4 team.

That team played as hard as any hoops team I’ve ever seen. They weren’t the most talented but they gave maximum effort from tip-off till the buzzer every time they took the floor. Billy’s best work was that season IMO.

Coaches all across the land replayed this play from Patric. The IQ level of that team was off the chart. It still hurts they didn't win it all that year.

He was a great defender (Pat Young was incredible on D too...Billy said Pat was the best pick and roll defender he ever coached), but Scottie was more than that. He was a dang assassin. When the team needed a big bucket, give it to Scottie and he delivered. He was playing through injury in the tournament, but you know he never would have used that as an excuse.

He has put together are very good career in Europe.
