New Florida Gators head coach Jim McElwain spent most of Wednesday in the South Florida area, mostly recruiting prospects that are committed elsewhere.
One of those prospects he visited was Miami running back commit Jordan Scarlett (5-11, 205, Fort Lauderdale, FL St. Thomas Aquinas) who enjoyed the visit from McElwain.
“It was a great visit with Coach McElwain on Wednesday,†Scarlett said. “It was great getting to meet him, he’s a great guy and sounds like a really good coach.â€
