This is the most important thing I've heard McElwain say he's going to address. I remember Muschamp being asked about penalties and his response was like a Geico ad. Something about UF getting penalized a lot before he took the job. The response made it seem like getting penalized was something beyond his control. I can picture the commercial now. UF's Gerald Willis takes a cheap shot and the announcer chimes in with "Commit stupid penalties? If you're a UF football player, that's what you do."

I hope McElwain puts an emphasis on this, because I think it's a major flaw. Perhaps if a player is benched, maybe that will send a message.
