ISIS on Friday, no collusion over the weekend, now this... I can’t take all this winning
Mark Geragos is his conspirator. No news on whether he was arrested but CNN did fire him: CNN analyst Mark Geragos said to be Avenatti’s alleged co-conspirator The alleged co-conspirator in an extortion case against celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti is believed to be CNN legal analyst Mark Geragos. Geragos, 61, was not named in the criminal complaint against Avenatti. Two people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that the co-conspirator, referred to in the document as "CC-1", a California attorney "known for representation of celebrity and public figure clients," was Geragos. It is not known whether Geragos has been charged or is cooperating with investigators. A CNN spokesperson told the Washington Examiner on Monday afternoon that Geragos is "no longer a CNN contributor." One of the best-known criminal defense lawyers in America, Geragos' clients have included footballer Colin Kaepernick, the late singer Michael Jackson, actress Winona Ryder, former congressman Gary Condit, jailed Clinton associate Susan McDougal, murderer Scott Peterson, former hockey player Scott Barney, and actor Jussie Smollett. Avenatti and a co-conspirator allegedly threatened to hold a news conference on the eve of Nike’s quarterly earnings call and the start of the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament to publicize alleged misconduct and maximize the damage such information could inflict on the company. If Nike’s lawyers wanted them to remain quiet, Avenatti said, they would need to be paid between $15 million and $25 million to conduct an “internal investigation” into the athletics apparel company. Avenatti said they would agree to a $22.5 million hush money payment from Nike if the company did not want to keep them on retainer.
It’s been a tough day for CNN contributors
Damn all the ones that like to make splashes on TV and have made a bunch of money in the past are showing up now. I wonder if Geragos blew through his money like Avenatti did.
Avenatti has a litany of problems. He was not paying payroll taxes on the coffee business and he wasn't paying personal income taxes. Add to it the bank/wire fraud and extortion charges and he's probably going away for dozens of years.
Worse, he filed fraudulent tax docs on top of that. So, let’s sum up all things Avenatti...Kavanaugh on the courtStormy owes Trump moneyAvenatti arrestedTrump still PresidentWhat’d I miss?
And to think this media suckup was actually speculated as a possible presidential candidate. Let me know if you need a parachute, Michael.
He's gonna need some commissary and a butt plug, not a parachute.
It's hilarious to watch them position "stories" and commentaries to the effect that Trump's woes are not over. They really are vested in his failure.
Some of those tweets.....
Avenatti was able to see in the future....
My dream would be to have Donald Trump re-elected in 2020 then for Donald Jr to run in 2024. Not because I'm a big Trump fan but because 16 years of seeing the left freak out would be so entertaining.
Honestly, when was the last time CNN had a good day?
Anyone seen Shaba-Dookie, Gator Tampon, Coach or LBoy……..
It's right out of Jesse's playbook, without the racial politics.
The left tried to do just that with 8 years of Obama to be followed by 8 years of Hillary.
Jr sure learned a lot from daddy. How the hell Sr avoided prison time is beyond me.
So I guess he's not running for President then?
My God, Trump must be non-stop creaming in his pants after the last few days. It's gonna' take him a week to recover.
