He was the coach of our track and cross-country teams when I was in high school at Buchholz. Amazing to see what's he done. He deserves the honor!

Not as much as you think, a lot of Olympic sprinters have been coming to Gainesville for training at UF from Coach Mouse since the mid 90s. Obviously he will need to be at the regionals and national events, but a lot of the athletes are already probably coming to him or in contact with him on a regular basis.
