This is from Only Gators Get Out Alive. .......4 » Former Florida offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan (1980-83), better known as the two-time Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Denver Broncos was on campus Monday wearing a Gators T-shirt and meeting with players. OnlyGators.com inquired with UF as to why Shanahan was on campus and around the team facility, though no answer has been provided as of press time. The following picture of a very-sweaty Shanahan was shared on Instagram by redshirt senior long snapper Drew Ferris. What an honor to meet legendary and former #gator coach Mike Shanahan today. Once a [Gator] always a [Gator] #gatornation #classact #camplife Share this: Categories: Basketball, Football Tags: Australia, Cairns Taipans, Caleb Sturgis, Denver Broncos, Drew Ferris, Miami Dolphins, Mike Pouncey, Mike Shanahan, NBA, NFL, Scottie Wilbekin

So where's the picture?

Shanahan obviously has a lot of time on his hands right now. Must be great to be paid six million a year for getting fired.

Can't get the pic to paste. Discuss. Is he here just for kicks?

Uh, why else? I'm pretty sure he's never returning to college coaching. I would guess he's there because he's bored.

His demanding style would definitely work better in college than in the NFL...

My how times have changed. Used to be that Foley would have to galavant around the country on an airplane just to get Shanny's attention. ;-)

Shanahan would really struggle in recruiting. He is a great coodinator but lacks the personality to be successful as a college headcoach.

In the NFL he became famous for his zone-blocking O-line and gaudy rushing numbers. At UF, he ran a great short passing offense, bit like the west coast offense. I think Wayne Peace led the nation in completion percentage for a while.

Alex.
