Saban was a defensive guy.
Smart was a defensive guy.
There is precedent.
Smart hasn't won **** and can barely score much of the time.

This is exactly how we landed in this burn barrel, copying Trailerbammer, but not really copying Trailerbammer (staff, facilities, recruiting).

It's these fuchsing half ass Saban assistants with their conservative ball control philosophy we've hired that have caused this shytshow.

That isn't Florida football and it doesnt attract Florida talent. We need to attack the weaknesses of people like Saban and Smart by throwing the ball around and scoring often.

It is. Clearly. But the way Saban has fought that is hiring a giant staff that shares the work and cuts out much of the preliminary stuff. We can too.
Agreed we Can, but, with our current AD and administration, I don’t think we have the will to carry that out.

We CAN but WOULD we????
Hey

I don’t think we will ever see Florida with a staff and admin like Saban has at Bama.
They’re a machine, a machine with everyone on board , all cylinders focused on one thing, Championships.

You know what else?
It ain’t just football either,

Actually, to attack Kirby and Saban’s weaknesses, we have the right “System” in place.
A system where a majority of High Schools in Florida run, spread option.

We have the right system, we just don’t have the entire program.

It’s not just our offense, we need it all to work.
Recruiting, offense, defense and special teams.
If each of those represented 25% we are at 50% to 62% giving credit to special teams..

Spread sucks. It is what you run when you don't have talent and don't have decent coaching. It is middle school football. Put your biggest fastest player at QB and have him run keepers most of the time.

Saban beats this almost every week.

yeah, he wants to go to the acc conference at a school with no funds and no fans. he doesnt want to be at a flagship school in the nations premiere conference in the middle of talent central. ok...

coaches these days are hired guns. there's no collegiate loyalty for any of them anymore. its a business, and the best want the brightest lights on the biggest stage. some of you are still living in the 70s.
I’m assuming you’re not from South Florida. Yes Miami fans are living for yesterday but hell aren’t we? I don’t know if he will leave Oregon but if he does it’s for love of his school, to live in his home area. If your argument was right we would have Kelly not UCLA. Or maybe Frost. And Tennessee would have a coach.

:scratchchin:A grade of 50%-62% sounds about right for where the Program is at compared to where it should be

Bull ****.

It’s what young kids grow up running now.
It’s what Urbs ran while kicking Saban’s ass in 2006 and 2008 not to mention how he beat Saban again in 2014

You’re behind the chains.

The spread is not Ga Techs triple option.
It’s not the wishbone or even the Veere.

You know that right?

Saban’s D can’t run man to man with a QB that will burn their asses with his DB’s running downfield with their backs turned.

If he plays zone, a good QB burbs his ass throwing and running.

The spread is NOT just a running QB.

Youre kidding, right? Do I sound like on of these fuchstard cheerleaders who doesnt know shtt about football?

No, we dont run triple option or veer.

We run ND's garbage option with the fullback as a slot receiver.

Except innthe redzone when we usually switch to the Single Wing.

Saban’s D can’t run man to man with a QB that will burn their asses with his DB’s running downfield with their backs turned.
Sabans defense destroys a spread team EVERY FUCHSING WEEK.

And next week he will go 13-0 against Douchebag Dan's amazing option game.

You can clap for every screen pass though and tell yourself it is how we beat him.

I noticed how you completely ignored the offense that has successfully destroyed both Saban and Bowl cut at Ga.

Dude, do you read what you’re posting?

Whistling past the graveyard son.

A successful Spread option, with a great QB and a good RB , coupled with outstanding receivers can only be stopped with a pro style Zone Defense. a defense with elite speed.

Even all mighty Saban doesn’t have that at this level.

It’s why, every game he’s lost outside of LSU teo years ago was to a spread option team with an elite QB.

This ain’t the pro’s.
There aren’t NFL prospects at EVERY position, even at Bama.

The spread is speed.
The spread can be power or finesse.

Even Spurrier knows, the old pro style run first has long been dead.
now, Even pass to set up the run is dead….,

You need options, on every play.
Defenses are too fast, too sophisticated , too specialized.

Wake up old man.
Put that drink down and think.

Yeah, 2008 with Percy and Tebow. They arent coming. Those guys dont even answer the phone when Mullinz calls.

Youre overlooking Saban's actually record since 2008.

Really?
How many ELITE Talented Spread option teams has he faced?

He lost to Urbs in 2014
He lost to Clemson 2017 and 2019 Although that 2019 team wasn’t exactly spread option.

Still, what’s the common theme?

The PROSTYLE and THE SPREAD. Yeah try to spin yourself as the guru thin pull out the THE SOREAD and THE PROSTYLE stuff.

Im wasting my time here but SOS ran the spread formations. There was nothing THE PROSTYLE about it.

And LSU just ass****ed Saban with it, with a kediocre defense.

While Douchebag Dan tried to run the option with Kyle Trash and Zooked it again.

You’ve made my point thanks.
Track in no way represents a typical spread QB, neither does Frank’s.

OHHHH... OHHHH.... ELITE you say?

When is Elite Dan landing Elite talent?

Moving the goalposts I see.

We aren’t talking about Mullen and the Gators specifically, we are talking about the offense that gives Saban and bowl cut, fits.

The spread option that kicks Saban’s ass with comparable talent.

Try to keep up boy.
