JJW covered several of Guy's songs. I think I like JJW's version more than Guy's in most cases.
Guy passed on the same day my wife and I flew into Nashville to visit our son and daughter-in-law. I remember sitting on the porch that night filled with sadness, drinking bourbon, listening to Guy and even had to wipe my eyes a few times. He was one of the greatest songwriters ever. A documentary has been done on his life "Without Getting Killed or Caught" but the release of the movie was delayed because of COVID. Maybe it will come out in 2021.
