Multiple reports: Keeping Muschamp through Georgia game

Stadium will be full enough for everyone except EKU. The empty seats do not hurt as much with the new television contract.
What I'm hearing is that they are considering pulling us of the TV as well for 1980's sitcom re-runs. Much bigger audience.

We are still under contract and get paid.

Not true. You are not up with current events. The contract is null and void if we lose our Homecoming game. They didn't act on it last year, they will this year (I'm actually hearing it's already done). UF currently has no TV contract.

Foley's "package" is what got us into this mess in the first place, or at least allowing what he was doing with it to be photographed.

Yep, yep.

The only question remaining is will we be displaced by Who's the Boss or Family Ties.

A prospective coach can still "think" while we have an interim coach.

I gotcha Ox. But on the other hand we don't need to get led on and then get the rug ripped out from underneath us by a big name working a bigger contract somewhere else either. I really don't believe we need a true headliner to be the coach. We just need someone who can show leadership and hire a few quality assistants. This team as a lot of talent, it's just been buried under Muschamps ignorance.

You may be right Douglas, but an empty stadium sure as heck hurts with recruiting.....by the way have you looked at the rankings lately ? Not that rankings mean everything but these HS kids aren't dumb. They know there is turmoil and that most likely WM will not be the coach here next year. There are a lot of long time UF leans waiting to make their decision, some of them are elite prospects and we stand to lose them all if this goes on too long.

MEH. I am over the stupidity. Can't support it any longer.

I would not follow Muschamp to the door to escort him out.

The kids are waiting as they should be waiting. It's a business decision. But we also can't offically contact any coach until we are given permission by their school, and how many big name candidates are their schools going to allow us contact in the middle of the season? I would be shocked if after the Georgia game Foley does to Muschamp what he did to Zook, but then again I thought that announcement would come out this week. Muschamp will finish the season, but I doubt he will be the coach of the future as well after Georgia.

GatorJ, did you hack Ox's account again?

I guess we're screwed either way. Damned you Muschamp......and you too Foley.

At this point I don't even see how you could make an argument for Foley to keep his job. Complete disgrace to the university.

It made the mess bigger with the extension after 2012. Bad business.

My liver was already screwed, but it's going to take a major pounding in the Budzone with Champ around.

Just keeping him around so he can celebrate with all his Georgia buddies after the game.

Dub, I really wanted to say something else but I remembered this could also be a family site......but trust me I am thinking the worst possible thoughts when it comes to Muschamp and Foley.....

I am glad we aren't on tv. It hurts our image plus could cause
commit its to jump ship.

It HAS to be a conspiracy... there is no way that Muschump and Fooley could have ruined this program any worse, if they legitimately tried to. This can't be just random and accidental. To go from winning 2 titles in three years, less than a decade ago, to this... I'm just shellshocked by it all.

Decided to be daring (since I’ve been working out, looking ‘cut’ and all) so I waited until the missus got in bed, disrobed and put my Valentine’s BVDs on, combed my hair, brushed my teeth, slapped on my Ice Blue Aqua Velva, ripped the covers back and in my best Sam Elliot voice said “Here I am, Baby, I’m all yours!” The response…

”show older posts” isn’t working for me, but I saw what you wrote in Pasty’s quote. Try this, send the invitations to the absolutely positively have to invites early, like really early. Then, every “regret” rsvp you get means you get to send another invitation.
